Yesterday I was privileged enough to attend the Finnish fashion label, Kaksitvå’s first ever runway show at the Cable Factory, in Helsinki.
The dynamic design duo, Piia Keto and Marjo Kuusinen, created the main body of their ideas for this Spring/Summer collection 2010 called JAALA, at a remote cottage in Eastern Finland last summer.

My very favourite forró band Banda Madrugada is releasing a FANTASTIC album called ‘Paiste’ today and celebrating the event with a gig in restaurant Kaisaniemi here in Helsinki.

Banda Madrugada @ Faces Festival 2009

My favourite forro band BANDA MADRUGADA had a fabulous gig at the Faces etnofestival in Billnäs, about an hour from Helsinki.
The gig was AMAZING - The crowd of smiling faces, dancing bodies and good thoughts coming together in one place really blew me away!
